2010 THE YEAR OF VALLEY ADVENTURES
Meeting the challenge of capturing the attention of people of many ages and backgrounds is a huge task, but not beyond CSUN'S VISCOM Student Number 13.
A wedding invitation-sized envelope arrives from The Museum, and when opened offers that appeals to the little kid in all of us ... a pop up train, complete with railroad cars. The interior flap of the envelope contains instruction on how to set up the little steam engine, and its cars of Museum information.
Each pull out car-card carries a different Museum message. The caboose unfolds to solicit membership in The Museum and a chance to become involved in the movement that is making a great regional Museum of history and culture a reality in the San Fernando Valley.
