2010 THE YEAR OF VALLEY ADVENTURES
Powerful lessons about The Museum's message are emerging from the conceptual works being created by California State University Northridge's VISCOM students. Aside from the fabulous brochure ideas being generated by the emerging communications specialists at CSUN, The Museum Community has the great advantage of seeing, graphically, how our goals are being viewed by a vital, young section of San Fernando Valley residents. Here Student Number 8 responds to The Museum's kinetic light blue logo by repeating and expanding on our color themes.
Notice how this VISCOM student pulls the viewer to and from The Museum's logo into the photograph of the great western movie horse Trigger at CBS Center in Studio City. The blue of the sky matches the MSFV logo as the blue repeats itself in the subtle word "Adventure". The leaves of the tree at the left follow the back of the statue to the words "Tour Guide" at the bottom.
Here Student Number 8 uses a computer generated color scale to move from The Museum's logo at the brochure concept top to the rich colors in the montage of Valley images below. Bravo~
