Board member of The Museum, Liane Schirmer has begun plans for our Community's involvement in the 230th birthday of Los Angeles. The celebration will occur in the Old City Plaza.
"I am having the time of my life in Los Angeles. Expect to stay two weeks more. Went to Mt Lowe
yesterday and to Aviation last Thursday. Love Linda Steward."

Caption - "The Old Mission Plaza Church is the first church built in Los Angeles, the foundation was laid in 1814, when the beautiful city was a little pueblo of less than a thousand inhabitant. It was formally known as the Chruch of Nuestra SeƱora Reina de Los Angeles (Our Lady Queen of Angeles) and one of the four Asistencuas of the San Gabriel Mission. Regular services are here, as of old."
