THEATRE OF WILL PREMIERS "THE THIRSTY CITY" AT THE LOS ANGELES DEPARTMENT OF WATER AND POWER
Your Museum is proud to have assisted Theatre of Will to bring about its production, "The Thirsty City." The play is inspired by the very successful mobile exhibit "Our Thirsty City" produced by The Museum of the San Fernando Valley.

Theatre of Will offers an elementary school assembly program which includes an interactive theatrical presentation of the water history of Los Angeles. It presents to children and adults answers to the questions:

Who was William Mulholland?
How did Mulholland bring water to Los Angeles?
How the aqueduct system and water flows, then and now.

Children arrive for The Thirsty City - and, get to go down a stair way that moves.

This terrific play offters opportunities for students to engage the performers and to take part in the story part. It has a science demonstration of water flow and the aqueduct system. Theatre of Will also provides study guides and take-home materials (Grades 3-5) –– Teacher/Student work books
–– Water Conservation tips for the family.
