This old North Hollywood newspaper clipping and many other treasures will soon be available to see when historic El Campo de Cahuenga re-opens. In the meanwhile be on the lookout for items related to California's most important American landmark.

This was actually 99 years ago...in the "Lankershim Laconic" of August 1909 (Such a poetic name for a weekly newspaper. Subscriptions were $1 per year.

I was only two dozen years short on the age of the newspaper. Should have used the latin "c" (circa) like Brother Marco taught me at Notre Dame HS, c. 50 years ago.
