Many a Saturday I spent at the Reseda Theater double feature about the time this photo was taken. At the end of every summer (and daylight savings time) we would drive east along Sherman Way towards Sav-ons' glowing neon to buy school supplies. During high school in the earky 1970's, tThis was the corner where I transfered from the 163 to the 425 bus. This corner and the adjacent blocks are burned into memory. Pep-Boys was nearby as was the Post Office. Newberry's was several blocks down the street in the photo.
