The Theodore Payne Foundation's Nursery is an import part of San Fernando Valley culture. The nursery is not a park or recreational area, but rather a no-nonsense working space where educated customers can buy plants native to our region of Southern California. Classes are also held in the facility. 

 I have to admit, the warnings about rattlesnakes and mountain lion sightings made me just a bit nervous during my visit to the Theodore Payne Nursery.

The San Fernando Valley, in the heart of the Creative Center of the World, deserves a great Museum of history and culture.
