Well this week is an exception. Tax season or not, you must take a half hour to go to the San Fernando Valley's Beilenson Park (formerly Balboa Park) and see the Japanese Cherry Trees in bloom! Hurry, the blooms are in their final days for the season.
Take the Orange Line to Balboa Park, walk a couple of short blocks into the park and visit Lake Balboa.
