THE GREAT GENE AUTRY's GIRL OF MY DREAMS

2010  THE YEAR OF VALLEY ADVENTURES

In 1943, Mills Music published the words to "Girl of My Dreams" by Sunny Clapp. The song was a big hit in the American music market. It was made popular by the San Fernando Valley's own Gene Autry in the Republic Pictures film "South of the Border" with the great character actor Smiley Burnette. This sheet music treasure is a gift to The Museum of the San Fernando Valley from Gary Fredburg 2010. (click on this image to enlarge).
