To support the growing demand for information about the historic Oakridge Estate in Northridge, The Museum of the San Fernando Valley began a search in January for supporting documents about the handsome manor house, its grounds and residents. Among the recent items added to The Museum's archives is a work entitled Barbara Stanwyck - A Biography, published in 1984. The great actress Barbara Stanwyck was the first owner of Oakridge Estate in Northridge.
