When The Museum acquires our base of operations, we will begin immediately to scan, as well as photograph, all images that come our way. In the meanwhile, because of history's fleeting opportunities, we often photograph images such as this picture of California Air National Guardsmen during basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, take in June of 1961.
