In this case, on Thursday, July 11th, Home will be at the historic Rancho Cordillera del Norte located at Nordhoff St and Wilbur Ave in Northridge as this special event will be hosted by YOUR Museum SFV.

The 85th Anniversary of the Wizard of Oz!

Movie Screening.

Celebrity guest star performance by the World's top Dorothy impersonator Elaine Horn! She will be performing major scenes on each of the main movie characters.

There will be a Q&A about her work with original 1939 movie Munchkins at local events.

Free photos ops and meet and greet with celebrity guest star.

Silent auction and raffles of Wizard of Oz memorabilia.

Frank Sinatra Tribute - Thurs. August 8th - 5:00pm - 8:00pm; Please join us - Performance 6:00 - 7:00 pm - sing, dance enjoy 1940s - 1960s live music

Frank Sinatra Impersonator VAUGHN SUPONATIME.

Museum members, donors, valley residents and visitors are in for an another enjoyable early evening to relive memories as one of the leading impersonators in the U.S., 

Vaughn Suponatime will perform Frank Sinatra songs from the 1940s - 1960s on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, performance from 6:00 - 7:15 pm. Dancing and then more dancing following performance.

Vaughn has appeared the Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, at numerous events in Las Vegas such as The Bellagio Hotel, The Paris Hotel, Mandalay Bay, The Mirage, The Venetian, Bally’s, The Orleans, The Riviera, The Four Seasons, Caesars Palace, New York, New York, Wynn’s Hotel, and the M.G.M. Grand.

The first known Father's Day celebration was held on June 19, 1910, in Spokane, Washington. It was organised by Sonora Smart Dodd, who was inspired to honour her father, William Jackson Smart, a Civil War veteran and a single parent who raised six children.

The Museum will be closed June 15th and 16th; please join us at June 20th Historic Timeline event

 The Museum SFV will be closed this weekend.

 We apologize for the inconvience. We are preparing for a number of upcoming events at your museum of history, arts and culture.

 

We will re-open on Tuesday, June 18th.

San Fernando Valley timeline unveiling; Zoom Call 6/13/24 11:00 am - 12:00 pm; Free; The Museum SFV project.

History enthusiasts... please join us on a zoom link to preview the San Fernando Valley timeline.

The timeline will roll out in phases and will display diverse contributions and historic moments that has shaped the region spanning 65 million years culminating in 1800s.
