VISCOM STUDENT'S USE OF TEXTURES AND IMAGES PRESENTS THE MUSEUM.

2010  THE YEAR OF VALLEY ADVENTURES

A keen understanding of the power of paper stock is readily seen in the concept brochures of VISCOM Student Number 15.  On textured ivory-toned paper, three unique presentations were made for The Museum of the San Fernando Valley.

Using images previously published on the blog of The Museum, this creative student took high energy images that would appeal to youth from kindergarten to high school. Below is an example of the interior content of the brochure. (click on image to enlarge)

The brochure above is designed as an invitation to explore the rich history of the San Fernando Valley on walking and bus tours.

This third brochure's intent (above) is to reach secure and older adults. It presents images of the San Fernando Valley from its pioneer years to the onetime home of Republic Pictures in Studio City.
