Location:     Doheny Memorial Library
                     USC University Park Campus


Cost:             FREE EVENT 

(one of the best in the City of Los Angeles each year!)

Transit:        Take the Metro to the Expo line and stop at the USC station -                         

                     walk right up to the library and enjoy strolling on the grounds of USC.

Experience the diversity of stories that make Southern California such a place of discovery. At the Los Angeles Archives Bazaar, presented by L.A. as Subject and the USC Libraries, anyone with an interest in the region’s history will find something of value. A broad array of institutions and archives will have experts on hand to show off their collections and answer questions.

The Museum SFV plans to have a table at the event - please come out to say hello.

This event is for all history lovers and anyone that wants to learn more about all of the terrific organizations throughout Los Angeles and southern CA that promote history and culture in the City of the Angels.

Latino Heritage Day -October 14th 2023 - 11:00 am - 4:00 pm Art, Culture, Dance, Music and more - please inquire about participating

The Museum of the SFV will stage its 2nd annual Latino Heritage Day this fall.

Date:        Saturday, October 14th 

Time:       11:00 am - 4:00 pm 

Location:  Rancho Cordillera del Norte and Museum space in Northridge, CA.

Cost:         Free admission for visitors

Parking:    Free parking

Food truck (also pre-prepared food vendors being pursued)

Latino Heritage will be recognized and promoted via Art, Dance, Music and Fun.  This day is part of National Hispanic Heritage Month that runs from September 15th - October 15th each year.

10' x 10' booth offered (may include booth, table, chairs for select groups - or bring your own items)

Frank Sinatra Tribute returns - Thursday August 10th - at Rancho - Museum SFV fundraiser

Based on the complete enjoyment by all last year... The Museum SFV is pleased to have its Frank Sinatra Tribute event back at The Rancho and on the grounds of The Museum.

Come on out and enjoy your favorite Ol’ Blue Eyes tunes performed by one of the country’s leading impersonators. Vaughn Suponatime has performed on the Tonight Show, throughout Las Vegas, Merv Griffin’s Coconut Club, The Hollywood Palladium. Jimmy Kimmel Live, Sinatra's “Twin Palms” Estate in Palm Springs and the “Compound” in Rancho Mirage.

When:   Thursday, August 10, 2023 

Time:     5:00 pm to 8:00 pm   (show begins at 6:00pm)

Where:   The Rancho Cordillera del Norte

Cost:       $15/person -donation for Museum SFV fundraiser 

                (this is a huge discount for a show of this type!)

The Museum will action off some Frank Sinatra and Rat pack prizes as well as certificates for upcoming Museum SFV events.
