Interactive Paper-Mache Workshop with Artist Sarah Hage

The Museum of the San Fernando Valley invites you to meet featured artist, Sarah Hage.

Hage uses paint and paper mache to make what she calls “functional and dysfunctional art.” Her love for paper mache generated from her fascination with the Mexican celebration of Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). She likes to incorporate gardening to her art and has a satiric art installation that explores the controversy over genetically engineered plants called Monsanto Gardens.

Learn more about Hage and join the interactive paper mache workshop on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 2-3pm.

Open to all ages (children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult). Each person will create a finished piece of artwork that they can take home. Materials included with paid admission.

TICKETS: $10 (Includes one raffle ticket, light snacks and drinks)
Seating is very limited. Tickets are required.
Proceeds help support The Museum.

Everyone who purchases a ticket will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win original art prints, books and walking tour passes.
