I don't know if the airport was ever officially called Lockheed Airport or not. But, when I was a kid the place was called Burbank Airport or the Glendale-Burbank Airport.

I don't know if the airport was ever officially called Lockheed Airport or not. But, when I was a kid the place was called Burbank Airport or the Glendale-Burbank Airport.

Oh, in my day, we would just say Lockheed, as in "he's coming in at Lockheed" and everybody knew of where we were referring. It was never known by any of those other names.
