CHERISHING OUR VALLEY 2012
The Museum of the San Fernando Valley was invited by organizers of the 100th Anniversary of the founding of Shepherd of the Hills church this weekend. Despite rain on both Saturday and Sunday, over a thousand visitors visited The Museum's exhibits.
The response to The Museum was very positive. Many people were fascinated with the exhibits and the history behind each including, Tarzan, City of Tarzana, Oakridge Estate and current Museum programs such as Horses Across the Valley and Narrating Lives: Oral Histories of the San Fernando Valley.
