CHERISHING OUR VALLEY 2012
The Canadian geese have arrived in the San Fernando Valley. I heard their seasonal honking as I put my car away last Friday. The steady rains came on December 1 and 2, just as predicted. Here's a photograph that I took of a tree in Carolyn Urhi's front yard, when we were on our way to an arts and culture of the San Fernando Valley meeting at the Department of Cultural Affairs. Fall in Southern California has a privacy not readily seen by newcomers. (click on image to enlarge it.)
