Amelia lived with her husband George Putnam in North Hollywood, during the years of some of her greatest adventures. The leaders of North Hollywood, working with the Community Redevelopment Agency, City Councilman Tom LaBonge and other Valley activists saw to the restoration and recasting of this magnificent sculpture.
