Hello and Happy New Year to all of our Museum SFV members, donors, Museum Associates, neighbors and visitors.
2022 is going to be an amazing year for YOUR museum of history, art and culture.
You are in for a treat with a new Museum space, an enormous exterior area that we are in the process of building with exhibits, art and sculptures and plans for events for youth and adults and a return of our popular artist series, history of series, special events and historic walking tours.
The Museum SFV is open in the new year beginning January 4th and here are our new days and hours of operation:
Tuesdays: 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm
Saturdays: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Sundays: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Admission is FREE. Parking is FREE.
The Museum SFV has moved across the street to the historic grounds of the Rancho Cordillera del Norte at:
18904 Nordhoff St.
Northridge, CA 91324
(SW corner of Nordhoff St. & Wilbur Ave.)
The Museum is located approx. mid-way between CSUN and Northridge Fashion Center.
Parking during the week and for non-events may be inside our gates with the primary entrance on Nordhoff, just before the corner of Nordhoff St. and Wilbur Ave. (Please watch out for traffic and turn on your indicator well in advance of entering The Museum SFV grounds).
Secondary entrance is on Wilbur Ave., quite close to the corner and again, (Please watch out for traffic and turn on your indicator well in advance of entering The Museum SFV grounds).
On the weekends or if the lot is full of cars, we ask you kindly to park for free at our previous location, 18860 Nordhoff St. in the rear parking area and walk, carefully, across the street - on the SE corner of Nordhoff St. and Wilbur Ave - the Spanish-style office building.
Please feel free to contact us at 818-347-9665 or TheMuseumSFV@gmail.com.
We look forward to having you over to our new location, where we have a goal to turn YOUR museum into a cultural destination for all.
