Tomorrow - Last 2017 Speaker Series

The Museum of the San Fernando Valley invites you to meet featured artist Karen Rae Lott (aka K. Rae) at the last speaker series event for 2017.

K. Rae has been creating art on and off for over 40 years. She began with oil painting but now repurposes "junk" for art. She states, "I see the items I use as small memories of good times." She loves to stretch and melt plastic to turn it into something new. In the past, she has mod podge dried banana peels to incorporate it into her paintings. Her sculptures, often colorful and unique in shape, make great table centerpieces and conversation starters.

Meet K. Rea on Saturday, December 30, 2017, from 2pm - 3pm.
