Veterans Day Parades in San Fernando Valley

Veterans Day is Saturday, November 11th 

Many cities in the San Fernando Valley honor Veterans with a parade. How are you honoring and saying thank you to Veterans this year?

The San Fernando Valley Veterans Day Parade Committee Present:

"Honoring Those Who Served Past and Present"


The parade will begin at the corner of Laurel Canyon Blvd and San Fernando Mission Blvd, proceed down Laurel Canyon Blvd for 1.1 miles and culminate at the Ritchie Valens Recreation Center and Park (10736 Laurel Canyon Blvd., Pacoima, CA 91331). There will be a carnival at the Ritchie Valens Recreation Center. Information for Veterans and hotdogs at Ritchie Valens Recreation Center following the parade.

In the past,  the parade has involved more than 120 veterans groups, numerous high school marching bands and the San Diego-based Navy Band Southwest.  All wartime eras will be specifically represented.




San Fernando Valley Veterans Day Event In Canoga Park 11/11/17 10am - 3pm




Veterans Day event brings together more than 100 local veterans from all branches of military to show gratitude, respect and honor to our local Mexican-American Veterans from Canoga Park and the West San Fernando Valley. Veterans bring war mementos, metals, flags, uniforms, old photos of themselves, and of those who have passed away while in the service, and all things near and dear to their hearts to help pay tribute to those who served our country.
WHERE: Metrolink Station (Lot B) Deering/Sherman Way, Canoga Park
Open to the public. All are welcome. FREE.
